Privacy

AsOf collects waitlist email addresses so we can send early-access and launch updates. We do not share the waitlist email list for third-party marketing.

The waitlist also stores lightweight signup context such as source, referrer, campaign parameters, optional requested voices, optional assets/topics, and optional notes so we can understand which public pages are useful. This data is product feedback, not market evidence.

Cloudflare is not a current Web Analytics or RUM tracker for the site: Cloudflare Automatic Web Analytics and its RUM beacon are disabled for asof.io, and AsOf's optional app-rendered Cloudflare analytics beacon is also disabled. Cloudflare still proxies and secures asof.io, however, so ordinary HTTPS requests pass through its infrastructure. At that proxy layer, Cloudflare can process request metadata, including the requested URL, IP-level connection information, browser information, and standard request headers, as well as request content such as form submissions. Waitlist fields therefore pass through Cloudflare infrastructure on their way to AsOf. AsOf does not send those fields to Cloudflare Web Analytics or RUM. That infrastructure processing is separate from Web Analytics and RUM tracking.

AsOf uses Plausible Analytics only on these public pages: the home page in English and Simplified Chinese, the public About, Privacy, Terms, and Disclaimer pages, and the public Research Stations of Serenity and 投资TALK君, each in English and Simplified Chinese. Plausible is cookieless and sets no persistent identifier. Each public page view sends Plausible the page address, reduced to the site, the page path, and campaign tags such as utm_source. Any other query parameter, and anything after a “#”, is removed before sending. Campaign tags are passed on as written: AsOf checks their shape, but cannot tell whether whoever wrote a link put personal information into one. Plausible also receives standard browser and device information, and, when you arrive from another site, the address of the site you came from. When you click a tracked link, such as joining the early-access list or opening the AsOf account on X, AsOf also sends the name of that click, the link target, and the page path.

AsOf reports no page view and no click to Plausible from private beta pages, operator pages, or the AsOf brief. Opening one of those pages directly does not load Plausible. If you reach one from a public page without reloading, the analytics script stays loaded in your browser, but AsOf reports nothing from it. Nor does the address of a private page reach Plausible when you move from it to a public one: whenever your browser loads an AsOf page, AsOf tells it to pass on no address for the AsOf page you were reading. AsOf never sends your waitlist email address, the other fields you type into that form, or the voices you request to Plausible.

One thing AsOf cannot control. When another site links to AsOf, your browser tells Plausible which address you came from, and AsOf has no way to change or remove that address first. If the site that linked to you put personal information into its own web address, Plausible receives it, and it may be sent again with the next AsOf page you open in that visit. This is a limit of how web analytics works, not something AsOf chooses.

Public samples are based on public market commentary, but AsOf does not publish the raw evidence graph, provider payloads, or internal extracted text by default.
